Bloggers and Writers Attend Industry’s First Raspberry Harvest Tour

From July 15, 2015 to July 17, 2015, the NPRC hosted seven influential food/nutrition media and bloggers in Lynden, WA to experience first-hand the raspberry harvest and field-to-frozen processing. Attendees visited five growers/processors, and also had the opportunity to learn about emerging raspberry varieties and judge a raspberry recipe contest. Processed Raspberries in the Limelight at SCAN Symposium

 

For the past several years, the NPRC has sponsored the Sports Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists (SCAN) dietetic practice group, the largest dietetic practice group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. SCAN members are dietitians with nutrition expertise in the areas of sports, wellness, and the prevention and treatment of eating disorders, influencing the food decisions of many consumers.
